People want their timepiece to tick the boxes as being reliable, practical, classical, versatile enough they can wear on any outfit. However, your question will be, how do you find a quality watch like this to fit your budget?

Especially since the cellphone is ubiquitous, the watch is not only a device to tell time; for most of us, it speaks more about our style. Of course, the watches come in a wide range of functionality, size, and price.

Whether you believe it or not, your look does not have to cost the same as a small studio flat. Even if the wristwatch is one of the few acceptable accessories for most, it is better to buy one at a reasonable price range.

Bell & Ross Review: Unique Luxury Watch Brand

Review of Bell and Ross watches

When you consider luxury watches, not a lot of people will think of the Bell & Ross watches. The first guess on your mind might be Rolex, Omega, or Audemars Piguet. However, with this Bell & Ross review, we would get into why you should consider them.

Compared to other luxury watchmakers that brag about being around for centuries, Bell & Ross is relatively young. They have their origin in France and have become a well-known brand defined by their modern style type of watchmaking. Bell & Ross only came to existence in 1992 by childhood friends, Rosillo and Belamich, together with Sinn (a German watchmaker). Despite being a young brand, Bell and Rose is already competing with older brands.

The first watch models they released were Sinn’s, even though they had the Bell & Ross logo on it as well. But in 2002, after their separation, Bell & Ross moved to their production facilities in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.

Bell & Ross at a Glance

Most models from this young brand range from industrial chic timepieces to military-styled or aviation-themed watches. When it comes to Bell & Ross, you have a wealth of options. They offer modern watch collections with different tastes.

Some variety of models from this amicable brand includes the cockpit of aircraft design-inspired Bell & Ross Aviation Instrument and the BR02 watch for professional divers.

Now, let’s get into the Bell & Ross review to know whether they are worth your hard-earned money!

Pros

  • Reputable Brand
  • Top-quality movement
  • Luxurious timepiece
  • Reasonably priced
  • Reliable water resistance
  • Excellent functionality

Cons

  • Weak resale value
  • Limited warranty

Benefits / Drawbacks – Bell & Ross Review

Price and Some Thoughts

There are cheaper Bell & Ross watches, but if you want one as an investment, you may have to spend about $2,000 to $9,000 on average. That is almost the same price range you pay to get an Omega, Breitling, or a pre-owned Rolex. Of course not to exaggerate the price, watch collectors and connoisseurs will testify that there are watch models you need up to $20,000 to own. We’ve included most of the price ranges in this Bell and Ross review.

As we mentioned, each one varies based on the version or type of watch you are getting. Models like BR V1-92 is one of the very affordable Bell & Ross watch, and also one of the best Men’s watches under 2000. However, majority have the price ranging above $2000, which is the same range you get some other brands. Other brands may cost a bit more due to their in-house movements or celebrity endorsements.

Top-quality Movement

The truth is, all Bell & Ross watches use the Swiss mechanical ETA movement, which raises arguments between watch enthusiasts of the brand being of less quality. They are not as fancy as the in-house movement in other watches like Rolex or Tag Heuer. Considering the resources, time, and money to develop and produce them, ETA already seems like a sensible alternative.

This factor might be a slight setback for you if you value this in-house movement above all. However, it has nothing on the quality or standard of the watch. Bell & Ross use movements with various jewels, VPH, and power reserves to suit their different collection.

They offer excellent performance, reliability, and accuracy expected from the ETA and Sellita movements. Some include Sellita SW 200 (Automatic), Automatic movement 362354, and Automatic movement 363085 for Chronograph.

Watchmakers also get to define the movement’s grade with COSC certification for top categories and modify theirs to make it unique. In all Swiss watches, only 3% are COSC certified, so that’s something. One advantage you get from these movements is that they are easier and more affordable to fix when they have problems than the in-house movements.

Optimal Waterproof Ability

Let’s be frank; you may not want to consider diving into the ocean with any one of these watches. However, owning a waterproof watch always has an advantage in cases of rain or pool environments.

Gladly, there are the Bell & Ross’s complete diver collections and, some that are water-resistant. For example, Br 03-92 has its water resistivity ranging up to 300 meters. Serious ocean divers can go for watches with traits like this, but the water-resistant watch remains an advantage in a day-to-day sense.

Luxurious Timepiece

Bell & Ross offer collections of unique watches that will match both your casual and official outfits. When it comes to comparing the looks of this watch to others, this brand will take all the medals. The first impression you get from the Bell & Ross is the sporty-appearance and fashion sense. They are the type of watch you wear when you aim to show off. Many models stand out from their caliber with the Bell & Ross signature square cases. Most watch owners say that the Bell & Ross square cases balance more comfortably on the wrist.

It is a brand of luxury watches after all, so there is probably not a model to dislike. Each collection comes with features and complications varying from the others. They have lots of functions, details, and versatility to suit your taste. Unlike other luxury brands, the ability of the Bell & Ross to withstand extreme environments is another plus to look out for in this watch.

As we have mentioned, Bell & Ross use the ETA movement as their powerhouse; this is not even a drawback. If anything, it’s beneficial. With this brand, you get not only quality, but you also get a reputable brand name and image. The appearance of the Bell & Ross alone can get people complimenting and asking about your watch.

Brand Reputation and Ranking

While gradually becoming one of the most successful brands of luxury watches in the industry, Bell & Ross have gained a positive worldwide reputation. Day by day, as the watch keeps executing their duties, their fame increase. Several retailers are witnesses to the success and budding move of the watch.

The ranking of a brand in an industry is debatable since factors like independence, history, innovation, value, quality of materials, personal opinions, and movement production are influences. Even with these factors, we can still rank Bell & Ross as one of the top 25 brands worldwide.

The brand is already becoming the favorite of some military pilots, defense forces, underwater enthusiasts, and submariners. The high precision, legibility, and ability to resist water has boosted the reputation of this brand among professionals to becoming what they need to execute their professional duties. French Air Force, Space Lab Mission, among others deal directly with Bell & Ross watches.

Excellent Functionality

Bell & Ross get the inspiration behind their watch designs from aviation and military specifications. This includes the form and appearance they represent. As good as they all look, every timepiece from Bell & Ross have incredible visual and performance quality.

Every detail on the Bell & Ross translates to a particular meaning and function. They produce top-pick Swiss wristwatches, some of which come with a square case with a round dial. This move signifies the instruments you will find on the dashboard of fighter planes.

They target their design is towards minimalism and functionality as the key focus. Other focuses that form the design of these high performances watches include legibility, reliability, and precision. Their aim is making the individuals look worthy while helping their various professions in a way. Also, if you need watches to withstand extreme situations like dangerous pressure and violent acceleration, Bell & Ross suits well.

Should you get the Bell & Ross watches?

Timepiece enthusiasts and horology experts sometimes put too much consideration in the rich histories, collection types, styles, and detailing of watches. They get a sight of a rare timepiece and could spend days and weeks analyzing the pros and cons of the watches they want to get.

However, let’s face the fact, not everyone is an expert with watches; some only want to tick it off their checklist of must-haves. So if you’re going to ask us about the brand that has done well with reaching out to the aesthetics-focused market, as well as offering functionality, we would say go for Bell & Ross.

Another advantage of this watch brand is the versatility and the fact that it does an excellent job of straddling the gender divide equally. Only a few watches can do this and be described and unisex. Of course, there are lots of women who like to wear hefty, masculine watches, but Bell & Ross give a unique vibe for both genders.

Final Thoughts on the Bell & Ross Watches

Finally, this ends our Bell and Ross review. Admittedly, the Bell & Ross watch may have different appearances. Still, there are a few things you will find familiar with them. The top-quality mechanical movements, legibility, ideal water resistance, and excellent functionality are some attributes to be admired.

The advantages Bell & Ross offers validates the brand as choices by dozens of divers, astronauts, race car drivers, adventure seekers amidst several others. Regardless of the brand you choose from Bell & Ross, they will not let you down. You can also check out the Ebel watch review and Oris watch review.

Best Watch for Basic Training

Suunto Traverse Alpha

The Traverse Alpha is more than just a watch. It has an insane amount of features to ensure you are ready to conquer basic training.

Typically, I would not say a watch that has so many computerized, digital features would be great durability-wise. The Suunto Traverse Alpha, however, is an exception. The rugged, strong stainless steel bezel keeps the watch protected. A scratch-resistant, sapphire crystal ensures the dial is well-kept and never harmed. There is even a water-resistant nylon strap that adds to the durability of this timepiece.

It’s All in the Features

What sets the Traverse Alpha apart from the rest has to be all of the innovative features that can help make basic training a breeze. The Suunto has an automatic shot detection feature, so you can keep up with your long-range shots in training, and see where you need work. An advanced GPS system that uses breadcrumb tech to track your position to let you know where you are at all times. It can even track a trip that you have taken, so finding your way back to start will be a breeze.

The battery life can last up to 14 days; so as long as you remember to recharge every so often you will be as good as gravy. YOU EVEN HAVE A BUILT IN FLASHLIGHT! Quickly find anything in the field or barracks with the bright illumination from the flashlight in your watch!

The Traverse Alpha also has a radio communication ability that hooks up via Bluetooth. Set up vibration alerts to keep you updated on all the training times and events that you have to attend. All around, the Suunto Traverse Alpha is a masterpiece that is the DEFINITION of a great military watch!

Top Features

  • Advanced GPS Software
  • Built-in flashlight
  • Durable build (glass fiber, stainless steel coated case, knurled bezel and sapphire crystal, water-resistant nylon strap)

G-Shock GG-1000-1A5CR

A close second to the Traverse Alpha (and maybe a first to others) is the G-Shock model GG-1000-1A5CR. This piece is very durable and can handle almost anything.

I already let you know what features are important to have in a watch for basic training. Well, this G-shock meets all the criteria. The durability of this piece is absolutely insane! It is shock-resistant, mud resistant, and can withstand water depths of up to 200M.  The comfortable nylon strap is rugged and durable as well, easily resisting wear and tear that other bands tend to get through time.

Despite the large look of the watch (56.2mm case), it is very light. Meaning it is pleasant to wear on the wrist all day and does not cause any odd marks or uncomfortable feelings that some bulky watches cause. The watch also has a countdown timer. Five daily alarms to keep you on track with your day to day activities. There’s even a full auto-calendar with multiple time zones! And last, it has an extremely bright LED backlight for easy readability at any time.

Although the timepiece is a battery-powered quartz, I am sure you will not have to worry about changing the batteries often. This piece has a battery life of up to two years!

A Monster Watch

Not only does this G-Shock look like a military watch, but it is also literally considered one! The strong build is sure to keep your watch intact, while the innovative features can help you accomplish any task that is thrown your way during intense training!

Top Features

  • Digital compass
  • Super-illuminator; LED backlight
  • Strong, powerful and robust build

G-Shock “Master of G” GW-9400-1CR

Another G-Shock makes the list. The G-Shock “Master of G” is a great choice for a basic training watch and is quite affordable as well.

What makes the Master of G different is that it is a solar-powered watch. No need to recharge or buy new batteries for this bad boy! 24-hour military time can help you track the hours relevant to your work (BE HERE AT 21 HUNDRED HOURS”)!

Another special feature of this watch is the M6 atomic timekeeping. Just like the Rolex GG-100, there is also up to five daily alarms, a countdown timer, and water resistance up to 200M.

Reliable Timekeeping

Due to the robust atomic timekeeping ability, you can rest assured that your sense of time will be on point! Atomic timekeeping is a feature that is absent in many watches. This is where a radio signal is sent out to the watch to make sure the time is accurate. So rather than being +/- a second or two; at the end of the day you are set at the EXACT time!

Top Features

  • Atomic timekeeping
  • Solar power digital watch
  • 24-hour military time

Garmin Tactix Bravo

The Tactix Bravo is somewhat of a “smartwatch” that is very similar to the Suunto Traverse Alpha but with some differences.

My favorite feature on the Garmin Tactix Bravo has to be the name. It sounds like a watch that should be owned by a special forces dude. No, but really, my favorite feature is the sunlight-readable HD display. The display is easy to read in ANY atmosphere and is protected by a high-strength, domed sapphire crystal. The watch can easily be switched from day mode to night mode, which will offer night vision capabilities.

Overall, the Tactix Bravo is a solid watch for basic training. If you are into more technologically advanced watches, this is for you.

Serious Style

With the Tactix Bravo, you essentially have a cell phone, in watch form. The watch passes all of the “military tests,” Including water resistance rating, durability, innovative features, and easy readability.

Top Features

  • GPS/GLONASS positioning with automatic calibrating altimeter, barometer, and 3-axis compass
  • Night vision goggle compatible
  • Smart features for fitness and training

Timex T49612 Expedition

The last watch of the day is definitely a qualifier for a top military watch for basic training. But what makes it great is that the Timex is VERY affordable.

What stands out immediately when reading into this watch is seeing how it is designed for “outdoor torture tests.” It sounds scary to me, but in a way, it’s about to be your life for the next few weeks (just kidding)! Overall, the watch is strong, rugged, and durable- literally built to withstand torture.

With the Timex, you also get a built-in digital compass, Indiglo light-up dial, and that is pretty much it technology-wise. The 48mm case is built out of a durable resin material and is shock resistant up to I.S.O standards.

Withstand Tests Of Torture

Ask any of your buddies at basic training if their watches are built for torture tests. I’m pretty sure they will say no! Besides having an interesting test method behind this watches durability, it truly is one of the most durable watches on today’s review. It is also a budget-friendly watch, so you can save your hard-earned cash for snacks and hide them under your bunk!

Final Word

Hopefully my review today has made it easier for you to choose a watch for basic training. Every watch on the review today has certain features that make it unique and worthy of your purchase. In the end, I still hold to my opinion that the Suunto Traverse Alpha is the best watch for basic training. However, the final choice is up to you!

The Garmin Fenix 5X Plus has features like the advanced GPS, heart rate monitor, Wi-Fi, rechargeable battery, Chroma display, calorie and step counter, an altimeter, and color topographical maps, and thermometer. It is water-resistant to 100 meters.

Incredible features

Amidst other impressive features, it also comes with a pulse oximeter for oxygen saturation. As a non-medical device, the watch proves useful by providing awareness of your estimated blood oxygen saturated level, especially while your body adjusts to higher altitudes.

In areas where there are extreme weather changes, the watch has a storm alarm to detect drops in barometric pressures. The built-in music storage, Galileo-based navigation system, and Garmin Pay are some other highlights of this excellent watch.

General Criteria in Selecting the Best GPS Watch for Military

Just as we have mentioned, the two main focus when getting this watch is the durability and tactical features. But there is more.

GPS features

Your timepiece should synchronize your current location accurately and within a short time. Some GPS watches take forever to load. However, a proper GPS function should trace steps, save routes, navigation plans, save tracks and waypoints

Ruggedness

Military watches have a reputation for durability. They should be rugged and shockproof to beats, knocks, or abrasion. From the glass to the case and band, the entire watch must be resilient.

Tactical Features

The standard military watch should have a compass, altimeter, and barometer features. These features allow the timepiece to serve navigation and prediction purposes better.

Battery Life

A reliable GPS military watch should operate for at least a year without needing a battery change. The GPS watch you choose should run on lithium-based batteries and must have battery life capable of running for days without needing recharging.

Design

To be honest, the main thing most people want to see in any gadget is the design. While most military watches stick to natural colors like black, brown, white, silver, camo or green, some others have changeable bands. You can decide to give yours a sleek outdoorsy look.

Garmin Tactix Charlie Review

Back in 2018, the Garmin Tactix Charlie was released – a fitness watch that has more features than you will ever need. The Tactix Bravo is a beloved fitness watch and many were looking forward to the Tactix Charlie. Based on my experience, the Tactix Charlie is a worthy update to the Bravo.

Design and Construction

This third generation Tactix watch doesn’t look that much different from the Bravo. The rugged construction is still the primary design selling point of the Tactix Charlie. The Tactix Charlie truly looks like a proper tactical watch that will not look out of place on a SWAT team’s wrists.

Fortunately, the Tactix Charlie doesn’t only look the part, it’s built to be the toughest watch in Garmin’s arsenal.

The main draw of the Charlie is the Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) coated titanium material. With the DLC material, the Charlie is more resistant and durable than the Fenix 5X. While the DLC delivers in terms of toughness and robustness, it’s surprisingly a lightweight material.

The Charlie also features stainless-steel buttons, black titanium rear cover, and domed sapphire lens. These top-of-the-line materials help the Tactix Charlie a true outdoors GPS watch. This is the type of watch that you can wear regardless of outside conditions. Well, after all, it’s a GPS watch that’s designed for tactical purposes.

The 1.2-inch display does a great job of making things readable, even under the bright sunlight. This is a fairly large watch with a large display. For a watch that offers a ton of functionality, I won’t have it any other way.

Comfort and Wearability

When it comes to comfort, the Tactix Charlie doesn’t disappoint.

The watch comes with an all-weather black silicone band and is QuickFit™ compatible. The band feels comfortable even when things get a little moist. However, I was disappointed that you can’t swap the band with a NATO strap out of the box. It would be neat if it did come with another type of strap.

Weighing at 90 grams, the Charlie does have a bit of weight to it which is not surprising at all. This is a feature-heavy GPS watch with tons of features, so be aware that it has some bulk and weight. However, Garmin did a great job of keeping things lightweight despite the tactical nature of the Charlie.

As for the battery life, the Charlie offers up to 12 days in Smartwatch mode, 20 hours in GPS/HR mode, and 35 hours in UltraTac mode. This makes the Tactix Charlie equal to Fenix 5x in battery life but slightly less than the Bravo. The addition of the optical Heart Rate Monitor is the likely culprit here.

Just to be clear, the Charlie is not a touchscreen watch. While I do like touchscreen watches, they won’t make sense for an all-weather unit like the Garmin Tactix Charlie. With a 5-button navigation, operating the watch is easy. There’s a bit of a learning curve but if you have used the Bravo before, you’ll know that they are very similar in operation.

Features and Software

This is the meat of the Garmin Tactix Charlie. This is where the majority of your big bucks go.

For navigation, you can use the built-in GPS/GLONASS and the TOPO maps or the compass. Garmin is a world-leading brand in GPS devices, so you can expect the same level of quality as the Charlie. It’s also a proper ABC watch with altimeter, barometer and a 3-axis compass.

The full-color TOPO map is easy to follow and is preloaded into the watch. You can easily map your route and receive at a glance information while you’re training or on the field. The navigation aspect of the Charlie certainly lives up to Garmin’s standard.

As an activity tracker, Charlie offers plenty of options as well. As expected, the Charlie is loaded with advanced performance monitoring capabilities to help maximize your training. The new anaerobic training effect metric is pretty neat as it gets you an in-depth insight into your training and helps pinpoint the areas that need improvement.

Of course, you can’t talk about the features of Charlie without mentioning the Wrist-Based HR. The watch comes with the Elevate wrist heart rate technology. However, the heart rate monitor is perhaps one of the lowest points of the Tactix Charlier. After multiple tests, I find the HR monitor to be quite erratic and sometimes, a bit laggy. It simply can’t compare to HR monitors with chest straps.

Garmin Fenix 5x Plus Review

The Fenix GPS multisport watches are some of the best fitness smartwatches on the market. The Fenix 5x is one of my favorite GPS watches and the Garmin Fenix 5x Plus looks to be an even better iteration.

Design and Construction

The Garmin Fenix watches are known for their big and bulky profile – the Fenix 5x Plus is no exception. Measuring at a whopping 51mm and weighing 86 grams, the Fenix 5x Plus is about 50% larger and twice as heavy as the Apple Watch Series 3.

That’s one way of saying that there’s no discreet way to wear the Fenix 5x Plus. Sure enough, you’ll get plenty of comments about how massive your watch is.

Despite its large profile, the watch still looks stylish. The black stainless steel bezel adds a sleek aesthetic to the watch. It looks good enough for daily wear. The black silicone band complements the rest of the watch and it’s easily interchangeable as well.

One of the highlights is the color sapphire display which does a great job of warding off scratches. Like the Tactix Charlie, the display is easily readable in sunlight. I’ve been wearing the watch during workouts and the display has yet to who signs of scratches.

Comfort and Wearability

The Fenix 5x Plus is about as comfortable as you can expect from a bulky watch. However, the Fenix 5x Plus is lighter than the Tactix Charlie. At 86 grams, the watch is not exactly light but Garmin deserves some props for not getting carried away with the weight.

The included silicone band is surprisingly comfortable, even after long periods of use. While training the band will accumulate moisture but I’m happy to report that comfort is not affected.

The watch does come with a sleep tracking feature but I’m not compelled to use it. While the watch is quite comfortable for a heavy-duty GPS watch, it’s not comfortable enough to sleep with it.

For the battery life, the watch will last you about 7 to 10 days with regular use. Due to the large number of features and functions (like playing music), I got about a week of heavy usage with this watch. If you are using both GPS and music, you will probably need to charge the watch by the end of the day. In this Garmin Tactix Charlie vs Fenix 5x Plus comparison, the former wins in terms of battery life.

Features and Software

If you have used a Garmin multisport watch before, it will be easy for you to pick up the Fenix 5X Plus. The 5-button interface is still here and requires a bit of learning curve for new buyers.

As expected, the GPS on this watch is solid. As long as you’re in a reasonably open area, the GPS lock-on is fast and easy, thanks to the GPS, Glonass, and Galileo satellites. The watch is also loaded to the brim when it comes to metrics. In fact, the watch is packed with so many features that I find myself learning a new metric or dynamic with continued use.

On top of the usual activity tracking and navigation features, the Fenix 5X Plus also comes with GarminPay which allows you to complete purchases just by using your watch. Another highlight is the ability to store offline Spotify so you can listen to music on the go.

If contactless payment and offline music playback are high up on your list, the Garmin Fenix 5X Plus is an easy recommendation.

Garmin Tactix Charlie vs Fenix 5x Plus: The Verdict

We conclude this Garmin Tactix Charlie vs Fenix 5x Plus head-to-head with our verdict.

The Garmin Tactix Charlie and Fenix 5x Plus are very similar watches, even down to the price range. For the base models, the price is similar between the two watches. However, the Fenix 5x Plus comes with a Titanium version which is a lot more expensive.

So which high-end GPS watch is right for you?

Well, if you are looking for a watch with tactical applications, the Garmin Tactix Charlie might be more right up your alley. It’s one of the best military watches available.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for a more advanced watch in terms of features, the Fenix 5x Plus has the upper hand. The ability to play music offline and contactless payment are winning features in my book.

Regardless of your choice, both watches are durable, versatile, and offer everything but the kitchen sink.

Snyper Watches Review: An In-Depth Look At Their Product Line

Snyper Watches Review

We’ve researched the top picks for you, so that you can compare the best watches that Snyper has to offer at a glance. Overall, we think that Snyper is a great buy because of the exceptionally high-quality materials used, plus they look great. But we also weigh the pros and cons of choosing Snyper over other similar brands at the end of this review.

While any wristwatch will make you appear more professional, and outside of work, they’re a fashion accessory that enhances any outfit you’re wearing. Is a Snyper watch right for you?

Snyper Watches Review

Snyper watches are a high-end, Swiss-made watch brand designed and assembled in Geneva. Inspired by the high-budget, ultra-high-tech military-grade equipment used by snipers, these wristwatches claim to embody the physical and mental strength of an elite class of warriors. In fact, the company refers to its lineup of wristwatches as “the Snyper range.’

Like a hybrid crossover between ultra-luxury top brands like Rolex, and the original functional purpose of wristwatches in the first place, Snyper boasts a vast array of wristwatches which look great, and will most likely serve your needs to tell time, or just show off your awesome watch.

What’s The Best Snyper Watch?

While everyone has different needs, Snyper offers a broad range of diverse models for their men’s wristwatches. Some might set you back more than the cost of a new car, while others were designed with the same high-tech functionality but without the bling.

Read on to find out what we think about:

Top Pick:  Men’s Automatic Chronograph Watch with Diamonds

If you’re going to get a high-end wristwatch, it might as well look like you’re making six figures per year. The Snyper Ironclad Men’s Automatic Chronograph Watch with Diamonds is that watch.

The scratch-resistant, anti-reflective crystal face reveals a polished metallic and black palette offset with a royal red that looks like money. Under the silver-toned luminescent hands are an additional second hand, a thirty-minute counter, and a 12-hour counter.

The stainless steel bezel is set with 48 TW VVS diamonds. The brushed stainless steel metal band that supports it is durable, elegant, and sleek.

Runner Up: Snyper ‘Two Steel’ Swiss Made Watch

When you require function over form, and need the extra-rugged durability of a rubber watchband, and water resistance up to 100 meters/330 feet, then the Snyper ‘Two Steel’ Swiss Made Watch is your go-to daily sports and activity watch of choice. This model boasts the same reliability of the Snyper brand, while allowing a little more flexibility with budget by not adding a bunch of diamonds to a watch you’re likely to take on some active excursions involving water sports.

Overall the look is very appealing without screaming for anyone’s attention. One really cool aspect of this watch is that the numbers around the dial are the seconds, which aren’t just broken up into 60 seconds, but so precise that each second has 4 microseconds built in between.

We half expected this watch to include a laser, but it’s still an invaluable asset if you’re going for that James Bond look.

Solid Choice: Snyper ‘Two Navy’ Swiss Made Watch

The Snyper ‘Two Navy’ wristwatch is just the right amount of aquamarine to stand out while scuba diving up to 100 meters, or 330 feet, yet still appear sleek while walking on the street. The rubber wristband allows for non-slip water play without worrying about ruining your investment.

The day and date are clearly displayed at the 3 o’clock, under the scratch-resistant, anti-glare sapphire crystal face. The extra-large 12 and 6 hours allow easy access to telling time at a glance.

Budget Choice: Snyper ‘Two Black’ Swiss Made Watch

Like the younger brother watch, the Snyper ‘Two Black’ foregoes fancy for fun. Mostly black with red highlights, it appears to be in stealth mode at all times.

This watch displays the minutes, not hours, in Arabic numerals around the face. The rubber watch band will endure a sweaty outing, or workout, as well as not pinching any forearm hairs as a metal band will.

You can find the day, and date on the right-hand side of the face, while the far left of the watch has a special pop-up compartment with a flame style lighter module which may be useful for lighting your cigar.

High-End Choice: Snyper Tourbillon F117 Titanium Swiss Made Watch

The most expensive (by far) and second to least aesthetically pleasing watch is the Snyper Tourbillon F117 Titanium. With a font on the dial that resembles comic sans, they decided for two colors – white and red – but only three numbers. The ‘6’ is mysteriously absent here.

The band material is inexplicably rubber, as though you would be wearing the equivalent of a brand new car around on your wrist while you were playing sports. Possibly more mysterious is why the beautifully polished titanium appears broken due to the center display being open so you can see the gears in the lower fourth of the watch face.

While they boast that this F117 watch is inspired by military aviation and is limited to only 25 pieces, we can’t help but wonder if there was any other inspiration source for the limited production.

Seems Decent: Snyper ‘One H’ Swiss Made Watch

The Snyper ‘One H’ model offers that sleek black with white text and red splashes, while offering a number of tiny windows that include: the day, the date, an extra second counter, a thirty-minute counter, as well as a 12-hour counter.

Though the strap is rubber, the hefty dial gives a manly weight to this watch. This seems like the most basic Snyper model in terms of looks, design, and function – yet pricewise it’s not the cheapest. While this would be a fun watch to wear, we can’t justify a higher price tag for the cheaper and even more awesome ‘Two Black.’

Meh: Snyper Ironclad Bicolor Rose Gold Swiss Made Watch

With the Snyper Ironclad Bicolor Rose Gold, leather and Rose Gold clash to create somewhat of an eyesore with too much contrast to look good. While this watch boasts the same engineering and durability of other Snyper watches, we can’t recommend this for any gentlemen who take themselves seriously.

Rose Gold is a cool color for your girlfriend’s iPhone, but not so much for a men’s wristwatch.

Should you get a Snyper watch?

Snyper offers a number of features that are pretty standard in the luxury men’s wristwatch, and some unique selling points that we don’t usually see in other watches. But with their high quality comes a price tag to match, so we’ve created a list of things we loved, and things we felt were lacking.

The pros of Snyper watches:

  • Most of these models look amazing, combining luxury parts with high quality to make an heirloom style wristwatch.
  • The cases are made with steel or titanium machined from the block, with a brushed metal bezel, and the faces are protected by scratch resistant, anti-reflective crystal.
  • You can actually mod your wristwatch with special attachments at the sides. Some models come preloaded with windproof lighters that emit a bright blue flame.
  • The watches themselves resemble sniper rifles with the cross-hairs on the dials, chronograph pushers that look like triggers, clip holder-like metal bars at 9 o’clock, and the crown which bears resemblance to a sight.

Mixed feelings:

  • Designer and co-founder of the Snyper One watch Jean Francois Ruchonnet who was an actual sniper in the military, claims the watches are called “Snyper” because it’s like a man seeking out a woman and taking one shot to get her.
  • One of the watch attachment modules in production is actually a laser, though it can’t cut through metal. So, no pun intended, but what’s the point?

The cons of Snyper watches:

  • The price tag is a bit higher than most midrange watches on the market, though with the precision engineering and high quality of materials used to produce the watches, they are more like inexpensive luxury Swiss watches.
  • The wildly differing models don’t offer a unified theme to the branding of the watches. While most are sleek and cool, like sniper rifles, some are so gaudy it’s hard to tell what they’re supposed to look like.

Bottom Line

Snyper has an awesome range of watches to choose from, with some models that really shine. But if it’s just not your thing, there are plenty of other men’s wristwatches out there.

If you like Snyper’s dive watch capable water resistance, and that beautiful black and blue style like the ‘Two Navy’ model, then you might like Deep Blue’s line of men’s wristwatches.

If Snyper’s luxury look, and Swiss made style is more your thing, then you should check out the Oris line of men’s wristwatches.

And if you want that sleek, simple look like Snyper’s ‘Two Black,’ then click here to find out more about Victorinox’ line of men’s wristwatches.

Thank you for reading our review on Snyper brand men’s wristwatches. We really hope you find the perfect watch for you. If you enjoyed this article, share it on your social media so your friends can enjoy it, too!

Best Watch for EMT

1. Casio G-Shock GW6900-1 Tough Solar

The Casio G-Shock has always been my go-to for watches that can deliver in terms of durability, legibility, and functionality. The Casio G-Shock GW6900-1 Tough Solar is exactly that and more.

Won’t Let You Down in the Field

The Casio G-Shock GW6900-1 is about as basic as you can get as far as tough watches go. However, it does offer a number of other functionalities that make it a worthy pickup.

Obviously, the main draw of this watch is its toughness. It features a shock-resistant construction which makes it highly resilient against vibration and impact. Just by feeling the watch alone, you can see that it can withstand the rough nature of an EMT’s job.

On top of the excellent durability and toughness, the watch also features 20-bar water resistance. From the shower to emergency water rescues, your watch will not give in just because it came in contact with water.

The GW6900-1 is also solar-powered which means that as long as you are wearing it, replacing the battery is a non-issue. The watch can still work even after 5-23 months of not receiving any light.

Best of all, the GW6900-1 is an affordable timepiece that’s currently on-sale for less than $100.

2. Garmin Tactix Charlie

The Garmin Tactix Charlie is somewhat of a premium pick. It’s not the most affordable in this best watch for EMT list but it’s an easy recommendation for those who are looking for a watch with a ton of features.

One Tool Watch to Rule Them All

The Garmin Tactix Charlie is described as a premium GPS watch – you can expect no less than Garmin.

Is it tough enough to handle an EMT’s job?

Well, the case of the Tactix Charlie is reinforced polymer with a titanium back plate. Plus, the bezel is DLC coated titanium while the watch is protected by sapphire crystal. As you can see, the Tactix Charlie is not playing around as far as durability goes.

After all, it’s a watch that’s designed for tactical purposes.

The main selling point of the watch is the navigation features. The watch comes with GPS/GLONASS along with pre-loaded topo maps. Many Garmin GPS staple features are here such as the ability to set project waypoints. You can also easily save your location in a hurry. The navigation features should come in handy if you are responding to a rural or unfamiliar location.

And one thing, it’s also an excellent activity tracker and fitness tool.

The Garmin Tactix Charlie is by no means a cheap watch but it offers a mind-blowing number of features that many EMTs should appreciate.

3. Casio G-Shock Rescue Concept

If you want the best watch for EMT with a thematic twist, the Casio G-Shock Rescue Concept is worth looking into. Don’t get me wrong, it’s more than just a watch with eye-popping red color.

Thematic Twist to a Tough Watch

One look at the Casio G-Shock Rescue Concept and your eyes will be drawn to the beautiful red color. When mine arrived, I was so pleased that it looks even better in person. This is a colorful alternative for EMTs who are tired of the same old black watches.

Since this is a G-Shock model, there’s no surprise (or rather a shock) here when it comes to inherent toughness. Casio’s construction is always on-point. The watch feels appropriately weighty and it just provides a solid feel overall. You just know that it’s a watch that won’t fail you in the field.

The G-Shock Rescue Concept comes with a decent list of features such as moon/tide graphs, auto EL backlight, low temp LCD, flash alert, world time, and daily alarm. It’s no Tactix Charlie or the Suunto Traverse Alpha but it’s hard to go wrong with the price.

In conclusion, the Casio G-Shock Rescue Concept is an excellent rugged watch with a color scheme that fits the EMT theme.

4. Citizen BM8180-03E Eco-Drive

Citizen’s Eco-Drive collection has always impressed me. They’re some of the most robust and well-respected watches in the industry. The Citizen BM8180-03E Eco-Drive is no exception.

Quality EMT Watch for a Great Price

The Citizen BM8180-03E Eco-Drive is one of the best-selling watches on Amazon, and it’s not surprising at all.

The BM8180-03E is a military-inspired watch and a stylish one at that. While it’s indeed a rugged military watch, it features a nice and clean design. The army green color scheme of the strap contrasts rather well with the stainless steel case and black dial.

Speaking of the dial, I love the BM8180-03E’s black dial. It’s just so clean and immediately readable. The red second hand adds an interesting contrast against the black dial face. Plus, you can easily use the seconds from timing a patient’s pulse and the like. When things get dark, the hands and numerals are lumed and it’s is pretty good.

Being an Eco-Drive model, the BM8180-03E is solar powered and it’s one of the better solar-powered watches available. It can be charged both in sunlight and artificial light sources like lamps. In case you run out of solar power, the watch also comes with a reserve battery which is a nice bonus.

All in all, this is a great-looking watch with sufficient ruggedness and functionality to offer for a great price.

5. Speidel Original Scrub Watch

The Speidel Original Scrub Watch is a watch specifically designed for doctors, nurses, surgeons, and of course EMT workers. This watch is simple, durable, and easy to read – sometimes, that’s all you ever need from a watch.

A Medical Professional’s Watch

I’ll be frank: the Speidel Original Scrub Watch is simply a basic analog watch. Don’t expect it to sync with your smartphone or count your steps. The idea here is to keep the basic timekeeping needs of medical professionals.

With that said, the dial features large Arabic numbers and a bright red second hand, emphasizing “at a glance” readability. True enough, the Speidel Scrub Watch boasts excellent readability regardless of the lighting conditions. The bright red second hand comes in handy when counting a patients pulse or breathing.

The watch is available in many different colored wristbands which you can match with your scrub uniforms, hence the name. The silicone band takes a bit of getting used to. However, it does provide a good bit of comfort and doesn’t make my wrist itch which is a plus. The silicone band is very easy to clean as well.

Overall, the Speidel Scrub Watch gets the job done and does it well. It’s a basic watch every step of the way and it doesn’t pretend otherwise. Luckily, the watch is available for a good price.

6. Timex Expedition Scout 40

Timex is a brand known for its budget-friendly and durable watches. The Expedition collection is more of a field watch and it’s perfect for an EMT’s everyday wear. The Timex Expedition Scout 40 is one the best entries in that particular collection.

Affordable and Durable Choice for EMTs

Like the Citizen Eco-Drive model earlier, the Timex Expedition Scout 40 is easy to read with clear white Arabic numbers on a black dial. The numerals and hands just pop out and you can easily tell the time at first glance. The numerals are bold and large which is always a plus for readability.

The Expedition Scout 40 also features the Indiglo illumination technology which I am a big fan of. When it comes to timekeeping in the dark, you won’t have a problem with this watch. The Japanese Quartz movement is always reliable and offers enough practicality for the timekeeping needs of emergency responders.

The Timex Expedition Scout 40 is a watch that EMT workers can buy with confidence. Plus, it’s hard to go wrong with the sub-$50 price tag.

Impressive Features

The biggest turn up of the Fenix 5 Plus remains the features. It’s got almost everything including the rugged outdoorsy orient waterproof quality, optical heart rate monitor, great battery life and decent display. Missing features

The watch represents an all-round improvement of smartwatches. But as expected, it comes with a few downsides. The Garmin Instinct does not have music storage, colored topographic maps, and connect IQ to install apps and new watch themes. Also, it’s not the best to track fitness, and the battery life seems to be unreliable when GPS is enabled. Although even with these missing feature, this Garmin piece remains one of the best military smartwatch you can find.

Casio Pro Trek Resin GPS – Best GPS Military Smartwatch

As expected, all watches have their most appealing qualities. For the Casio Pro Trek, it’s the best military smartwatch when it comes to GPS connectivity. Although it’s not as rugged as the Garmins mentioned above, it’s still a very reliable piece. Don’t get me wrong; the Casio Pro Trek is also durable and tactical. It accomplishes the perfect balance between functionality and toughness. The Casio Pro Trek will likely be the next generation of tactical Smartwatch.

With this, you can expect a long list of attractive functions, including an android compatible GPS connectivity device, dual-layer LCD, MIL-STD 810g compliance durability. Plus, activity trackers and 25 hours of battery life at maximum utilization. What else do you want from a smartwatch?

Benefits / Drawbacks – Casio Pro Trek Resin

Rated perfect for navigation and extreme tactical functions, the Casio Pro Trek is a titan on the wrist. Like the others, let’s talk about some features.

Quality in a Sleek Design

There could be better-looking watches, but the Casio Pro Trek Resin is arguably the best looking military smartwatch. It comes in two color versions – orange and black. Compared to its predecessors, it’s more robust and ruggedly designed.

More than just a time-reminder, the monochrome display shows atmospheric pressure or altitude, compass bearing, and more. Providing useful information on outdoor activities at a glance and befitting the Casio Pro Trek Resin as an effective military gear. Map reading requires analysis in finer details. Fortunately, this Casio smartwatch employs an organic EL view in a dual-layer – both monochrome and color display.

Remarkable GPS connectivity

No matter where you are, the smartwatch keeps you connected to the google maps with both GPS and GLONASS compatibility. It adopts a low-power GPS and a full-color map display of both online and offline downloadable maps from Mapbox – a platform used by Pinterest and Strava. These functions make the Casio Pro Trek Resin a handy device for mapping locations.

Not-So-Impressive with Water Resistivity

When it comes to preference, every true gadget enthusiast always requires the highest performing watch, packed with every needed function. The Casio Pro Trek Resin brags as the latest tech smartwatch, owning all the features you will expect. Except for its waterproof quality, that can only survive to 50 meters. This wrist companion can withstand rain, but don’t even think about scuba diving with it.

Accurate to every millisecond, the Casio GA100-1A1 watch is a profitable decision and certainly one of the military watches you should consider. Let’s look into some of the features.

Extremely durable

The Casio Piece already has a decent tactical look, but to top the fascinating factor of the watch is the rugged feel. It has a big sized military watch made with thick molded plastic wish. It is exceptionally durable to not only survive hits, drops, and excessive use, but also remain accurate and reliable.

Turning it from the original setting up to T3 puts the illumination ability above others. In dark places illumination already puts the worth of this watch weight in gold.

The combination of analog and digital movements, and the ability to illuminate adds to the readability comfort of the watch. These features allow its design to suit sports, outdoor activities, and military functions.

Other Picks

In addition to the Casio G-SHOCK GA100-1A1, there are other remarkable Military watches under 200. Let’s check out a few

SUUNTO Core All Black Military Watch – 2nd Choice

The Suunto Core watch is an amazing Military watch suitable for sports and outdoor activities. Although this timepiece may not be as expensive and sophisticated as Suunto traverse Alpha. Following a military watch under 200 dollars, it can rank as second best.

The Suunto watches are designed to be dynamic and have a more modern look. Our Top pick – The Casio G-SHOCK has enough durability that is difficult to be compared to other watches. But when it comes to tactical features, no Military watch matches the Suunto.

Benefits / Drawbacks – Suunto Core Military Watch

Without a doubt, the Suunto Core watch is a durable timepiece. It is built with a round bezel and a scratch resistant mineral crystal window to withstand distressing situations. The piece is equipped with three primary functions, which are the time, altimeter and barometer, and the compass mode. It would have been a perfect top pick for adventurers and military professionals, but it doesn’t come with a GPS.

Time Function

The watch displays accurate time on the upper half of the screen. A cool feature from the time mode is the moment of the sunrise and sunset that is shown below the time. The Suunto Core Military watch features the stopwatch, countdown timer, and alarm. It can be set on a two-time zone, to indicate the corresponding time for a secondary area different from your locality.

Altimeter and Barometer Function

The altimeter and barometer mode adds more interest to this piece. You can set it manually to measure altitude or barometric pressure, or even to pass from one to another. The watch records the measurement from a fixed interval in a log that can be consulted at any time.

Compass Function

The compass mode is another straightforward option that allows the timepiece to functions as a digital compass. The compass is a bit enhanced with the capability to set and lock on a specific destination.  It allows the user to follow through on a particular route with a directional arrow.

No GPS

The Suunto Core Military watch performs exactly as it says on the box. It has some cool features as we have mentioned, including the built-in thermometer. But for a highly recognized tactical Military Watch, it didn’t seem entirely fair for it to lack GPS.

Citizen Watches Men’s AT0200-05E Eco-Drive Chronograph Canvas – 3rd Choice

The stylish Citizen AT0200-05E Eco-Drive Chronograph Canvas watch is a military-inspired piece. For a rugged big sized watch with a comfortable fit and additional features. The Citizen AT0200-05E watch is qualifies to be our third best Military watch within this price range.

The watch is a quality and reliable timepiece with a simple interface and green patterned stitching strap. It is a great option for anyone who needs a military watch that can also function in sports activities. The Citizen watch is as well good for casual outings.

Benefits / Drawbacks – Citizen AT0200-05E Eco-Drive Watch

The uniqueness of this watch is made evident with the durable round metal case combined with the green textile strap. The stainless steel case is brushed and not polished to keep the twinkles off the wrist.

Chronograph

The chronograph function is impressive and easy to operate. Compared to the 1/20 sec chronograph on some other watch brand, its Chrono is just one second measuring up to 60 minutes. It also features a 12/24 hour time.

Functional Dial

The simple black dial gives a backdrop for the luminous hands, bold Arabic numerals, and date at the 4:00 hour. It features three subdials; the top right displays 24-hour format. The top left counts the minutes on the chronograph function while the bottom dial shows the ticking seconds hand.

Eco-Drive technology

The Eco-Drive Technology of the watch features an inbuilt solar battery. It is powered by any strong light source including sunshine or bright indoor lights to keep it from needing a battery.

A fully charged battery can supply energy for the watch to function for seven days. When the timepiece is running out of charge the seconds hand move in 2 seconds intervals to inform you that you need to recharge.

Water Resistant

The Citizen AT0200-05E Eco-Drive watch is waterproof to a depth of 100 meters, which is not more than what other regular dress watches offers. This means it is wearable while swimming or snorkeling, but the piece is not recommended or scuba diving. We think it is a bit of a limitation on the watch since there are standard military watches that offer water resistance to a depth of 300 meters.

Conclusion

We can’t escape the fact that military watches are the most versatile timepieces and can also be a little too pricey. Considering their features and outstanding quality, their price tag is quite understandable. They are handy in times of training, hiking or other heavy outdoor activities and also on a typical normal day.

These are our overall picks on the best military watches under 200, just in case you want one without breaking the bank. Regardless, if these timepieces don’t suit your exquisite taste, there are excellent options of high-end Military watches in the market. You check out our Best Military watch article.

Best Police Watch

1. Casio G-Shock DW6900BB Black Out Basic Series

Honestly, we could easily fill this list of the best police watch with G-Shocks and call it a day. G-Shocks are fairly popular with members of law enforcement and it’s not hard to see why. One of the best models of the bunch is the Casio G-Shock DW6900BB Black Out Basic Series.

Stealthy and Tactical

The G-Shock DW6900BB model does a great job of mixing digital and analog displays.

Perhaps the most standout feature of this G-Shock is its superior shock resistance. Casio has engineered a timepiece that suits that lifestyle of a police officer. Over the past several, this watch has received several impacts and exposure to moisture like you wouldn’t believe. The face is quite scratch-resistant as well.

The digital display is negative LCD which means that white font is used against a black background. My main concern with negative displays is legibility but I didn’t have such a problem with the DW6900BB. The electroluminescent (EL) backlighting works well for low light conditions.

The Black Out profile allows you to check the watch without giving away your position. This is, of course, a boon for officers during night operations.

The G-Shock DW6900BB watch is the very definition of a beater watch. It’s a heavy-duty timepiece with enough features to get you going.

2. Luminox 3051.BO Navy Seal Colormark 3050 Series

I am quite a fan of Luminox, particularly of the 3050 Series. The Luminox 3051.BO Navy Seal Colormark 3050 Series is already in our list of the best military watches, so it’s no surprise that it’s found its way here.

Navy Seal Pedigree

Police officers need a watch that will survive the rough and tough nature of their profession. However, the watch needs to be lightweight enough so they will not be weighed down.

It’s a good thing that the Luminox 3051.BO Navy Seal Colormark is the Polycarbonate carbon reinforced case and the durable mineral crystal that protects the watch from scratches.

This all adds up to a tough as nails watch but still manages to be lightweight.

A tough watch doesn’t have to be ugly, and I believe Luminox agrees. The Luminox 3051.BO is a beautiful watch and its black matte finish really adds a tactical feel to it. Unlike the previous watch, this timepiece boasts excellent luminosity. Whether you’re in darkness or underwater, you’ll have no problem reading the watch. Thanks to the tritium in the hands and markers.

We’ve highlighted the Black Out model since it’s the most stealthy and tactical in the 3050 series. It’s not the most affordable watch in this list but it’s sure worth the asking price.

3. Citizen BN0151-09L Promaster Professional Diver

Why would I recommend a dive model in a list of the best police watch? Well, the best dive watches are some of the toughest timekeeping tools out there. Besides, the Citizen BN0151-09L Promaster Professional Diver is more than just a tough dive watch.

Low Maintenance Timepiece

Cops prefer a watch that they can just wear and forget – something that they can wear on a daily basis without worries. The Citizen BN0151-09L Promaster Professional Diver might be a dive model but it’s an excellent watch for everyday wear.

For a diver, the BN0151-09L Promaster is a lightweight watch. It’s easy to forget that you have it on as you about your duty. It has a thickness of about 12mm which is quite slim. You have the option of using the stock strap or the NATO, the latter will make the watch stand up more.

The Eco-Drive technology means that you don’t have to worry about changing the batteries.

The dial is perhaps my favorite part of the BN0151-09L Promaster. It just oozes with cleanliness and all the design elements are well-arranged. The date window is located at 4 o’clock which is a nice break in tradition.

The watch is made of stainless steel. If you’re not a fan of brushed brass or plastic chassis, this is the best police watch for you. The steel construction adds a great deal of solidity to the watch. Based on my tests, it did well to repel most impacts.

4. Casio G-Shock GA 100-1A1 Military Series

Due to their inherent toughness and tactical features, there will be an overlap between police and military watches. Although the Casio G-Shock GA 100-1A1 Military Series is a watch that’s designed for military specifications, it’s also a solid choice for police officers.

Best Police Watch for the Money

The Casio G-Shock GA 100-1A1 Military Series is a classic tactical timepiece from Casio’s uber popular G-Shock line.

Just from the look of the watch, you’ll know that it’s a tactical timekeeping tool. Like the previous G-Shock watch, this one comes with both analog and digital displays. The black matte finish is beautiful and adds a great deal to the watch’s sturdy look.

The black colorway means that you wear it outside of law enforcement duty. Like most G-Shocks, the GA 100-1A1 excels in durability, making it an ideal watch for hardworking officers of the law. The 10-year battery life also means that you’ll be wearing this watch for a long time.

However, the watch is far from perfect. For instance, it’s a fairly large watch which might turn off some people. The biggest drawback to this watch is definitely the legibility. The all-black face makes it harder to read in low light conditions and the LED light is not bright enough to illuminate the whole face.

Despite the shortcomings, the watch more than makes up for it with its excellent price point and overall reliability.

5. Seiko 5 Automatic

If you want the best police watch, you don’t have to settle with just the G-Shocks. The Seiko 5 Automatic looks and performs like a high-end watch but without the exorbitant price.

The Value Proposition

One look at the Seiko 5 and you’ll see that it’s an aviation-inspired timepiece.

The watch features a matte finish on the front and sides. The watch exudes an elegant military aesthetic and reminds me of some of the best pilot watches I’ve seen.

For this watch, legibility is the name of the game. There’s a lot going on with the dial but it’s not overly cramped or busy. Each of the white hour and minute hand is applied with Seiko’s LumiBrite paint so you won’t have problems using this watch at night. The clean white lines not only adds to the legibility but also prevents the watch from looking generic.

It might be an elegant-looking timepiece but the Seiko 5 is a tough one. The Hardlex crystal does a great job of keeping scratches and bumps at bay. Plus, it features a fair water resistance rating.

Officers who are in the market for an aviation-inspired watch without the absurd price tag should check the Seiko 5 out.

6. Timex Expedition Gallatin

When it comes to tough watches, it’s hard to go wrong with Timex’s offering. The Expedition line is known for its excellent durability, reliability, and low price. The Timex Expedition Gallatin is an excellent and inexpensive all-rounder watch for members of the police force.

Heavy-Duty All-Rounder Watch

The Timex Expedition Gallatin is my workhorse. This is the kind of watch you wear if you don’t want to think too much about your timepiece.

Whether you’re hitting the gym or training in the field, this watch is a reliable companion. One thing I really like about this watch is that it’s lightweight. Most of the time, you won’t even notice that it’s there.

Police officers will surely appreciate the toughness offered by the Gallatin. The mineral glass is fairly scratch-resistant and the 100m water resistance means it’s good to wear for some water sports. The nylon strap adds another layer of ruggedness to the watch but it can get a bit stinky after some use.

It’s not the most feature-rich model in this list but at this price point, it’s hard not to recommend this watch to officers who are looking for a tough, beater watch.

Officers Deserve the Best Police Watch

This concludes our buying guide for the best police watch. Our top picks are durable, discrete, and offer good value for the money – making them ideal for law enforcement needs.
